Registration Service Now What is a domain name? In fact, a lot of companies have several domain names to represent each one of their products. For example, suppose a company named Good Software makes three different software programs called Doors98, Building97, and Sentence97. They could have 4 different domain names: goodsoftware.com, doors98.com, building97.com, and sentence97.com. This way if they run an ad or send out a press release about the company in general, they could direct people to http://www.goodsoftware.com. However, if they are only referring to one of their software programs, they could direct people to the website address for that particular program, like http://www.doors98.com. A domain name can be any combination of letters, numbers, or hypens (-) that you want. There is a limit of 67 characters (63 characters if you count the top level extension such as .com, .net, .org, etc.). Check now to see if the domain name you want is still available. Type in the name (like domain.com, without the http:// or www) and click on "Go". This will take you to an InterNIC page that will tell you whether that name is already registered.. If it says Congratulations!, then it means your name is still available. Click on your browser's back button to come back to this page to take advantage of our FREE domain name registration service. We will handle the entire registration process for you for FREE. This means we'll fill out the application for you, provide the two name server IP addresses and hostnames required by the InterNIC, submit your application and follow it through to completion. We guarantee that if your domain name is still available, we will get it registered, usually within 24 hours. The InterNIC charge for the first two year's registration fees is $60 ($30/yr.). After that, you pay just $30/yr. directly to the InterNIC. Effective September 18, 1999, the InterNIC has changed their policy and will no longer bill you for this initial $60 fee. They require that it be paid upfront by credit card, so be sure to include this information if you are having us do the paperwork for you. Order FREE
